What does Kleen Vent+ do?
Kleen Vent+ is a foaming evaporator cleaner that gets rid of the musty mildew smell that comes from a car's A/C system. The smell comes from mold, bacteria, and organic buildup on the evaporator coil inside the dash. Kleen Vent+ reaches it directly, cleans the coil, and drains out through the condensate line.
When should you use it?
Use it whenever the A/C blows a musty or sour smell when it first kicks on. That odor means mold or bacteria is growing on the evaporator. Common situations include:
- Vehicle sat unused for a period
- A/C runs a lot in humid climates

- Smell only appears at A/C startup then fades

How do you use Kleen Vent+?
Make sure the vehicle's A/C system is turned off before beginning procedure. Shake can well. Insert nozzle (or VT008 adapter hose) into A/C evaporator drain. Spray approximately half of can contents into the drain hose. The foam will encase the evaporator coil and begin cleaning and sanitizing Allow 10-15 minutes for the Kleen Vent+ foam to liquefy and drain back out of the drain hose. Repeat procedure with the remaining contents of the can. After draining for 10 minutes, start the vehicle, turn A/C system on with fan at low speed and run vehicle for an additional 10 minutes to complete the drying process.
